Risk Info
Booking Manager is commited to promoting healthy yacht charter marketplace. For that purpose, quickly informing all players about instances of fraud or defaulted companies is important.
Risk list is focused to inform about any charter fleet or agency that cannot sustain operation, meaning there is risk involved for others on the market. Information provided is about any company that became a real risk regardless of its affiliation with Booking Manager. Additionally this information is meant for any company, either partner or competitor of MMK. Health of the yacht charter industry is a benefit for everyone and risk info should be shared without reservation.
Therefore this list will include:
- Companies which are closed in non orderly manner, for example going bankrupt in the middle of the booking season with partially paid unfulfilled bookings
- Companies found to be defrauding their business partners or clients, including selling non-existant boats, or never providing service and not returning the money
The list will not contain:
- Companies that ended up in dispute about security deposit or any other misunderstanding that happens regularly on the market
- Companies that closed operation fulfilling all their obligations and leaving no unfullfilled bookings or bookings re-assigned to other well standing company
The list of defaulted companies we provide here is a work in progress and of course we will provide information on any company regardless of their status in Booking Manager system. Also anyone can ask for additional information, not only our customers.
