BMA: For 2025 so far, largest % is represented by Germany with 8.4% followed by Slovakia with 5.7% UK 4.68% Czech Republic and Poland 4.5% Austria 3.13% followed by Netherlands 2.5% and Italy 2%

2. Do you have proportion comparison between not only by the number of weeks but also include number of the boats listed on MMK? How many boats were in MMK on these 4 destinations in 2022, 2023 and 2024? Do you also have statistics on the number of boats by year by country?

4. Which are the most popular sailing areas in Greece, Croatia, Turkey and Italy?

BMA: Here is the list:

  • Greece – Athens/ Saronic Gulf, Cyclades, Ionian Islands
  • Croatia – Split area leads
  • Turkey – Bodrum, Gocek, and Marmaris
  • Italy – Sicily, Sardinia, and Tuscany

Number of Bookings

The results we see for 2025 right now are encouraginf, even with some destinations loosing market shares, overall globally we registered an increase of 5% in numbers of booking wordlwide in comparaison with January 2024.

Top Destinations

2024 marks the beginnign of the decline for Croatia as top destination in the Med, with a drastic decrease in number of bookings in december 2024 for 2025 compared with the situation in december 2023 for the 2024 season. Greece, Italy and Turkey continue their rise back to the top positions with Greece leading.

Average Booking Price

The average price of a charter week continues to grow steadily in all destination. This is a mix of organic price growth but also due to more and more crewed and all inclusive offers appearing in the market.
