Liljana and Boris Rogina are founders of the Euronautic group, a yacht charter company in Croatia that specializes in yacht management, maintenance and sales of vessels on the world market. What is interesting in this story is that Ljiljana's basic vocation is a pedagogue and Boris is a builder. They first engaged in sailing as a hobby, through fun. In 2002, they turned chartering into a business with four identical vessels.
The company now has a fleet of 44 sailing boats like Jeanneau, Bavaria, Beneteau and Elan. Euronutic group is divided into three companies: Euronautic Ltd. with charter base in Croatia, tourist agency in Slovenia and Club Euronautic. Their base is located in a city of Biograd, in the new part of the Marina Kornati, next to the city center. It is an excellent starting point for sailors because of its proximity to Kornati islands and five national parks.
The Euronautic team is made of professional and experienced staff that is very proud of their amount of booked (chartered) weeks. Thanks to that their vessels can fully pay off the maintenance and mooring at the marina, and even produce a profit. Euronautic staff constantly prepares special offers in attractive places and surroundings. "We are very proud of the social and innovative spirit of our enterprise where all participants get their proportional share in the nautical industry. We believe, that the expectations of our owners, guests and nautical culture enthusiasts are not only met, but also exceeded by innovation and quality of Euronautic services" – says Katarina.
Before using Booking Manager system, Euronautic has used an internal tool that was impractical and did not have online booking functionality for their agencies and guests. This resulted in a lot of manual work in the back office and slower booking process.
After upgrading to Booking Manager yacht charter software and booking system, Euronatic became accessible to their partners and clients 24/7 as well as to the wide range of agencies that are working with the Booking Manager distribution system.
Additionally Booking Manager system also automated Euroanutic's internal business processes that were made manually in the past. For example, their remote offices in Slovenia and Croatia are now connected by the system so they can efficiently coordinate activities. Also, all invoices produced in Booking Manager back office are automatically linked with their accounting software. The system is also used to automate and enable direct booking on their website.
All of this makes Euronautic more efficient and effective, saves a lot of time and money which is of great importance to the whole team.
