His culinary journey took an adventurous turn when he completed the "Vodan" skipper academy course in Croatia, leading him to become a chef on sailing yachts. Stjepan Ćesić was born and raised in Split, Croatia. He has 23 years of sailing experience in „optimist“, „laser“, „470“ and large sailing yachts. He won two silver medals at Optimist World Championship. After faculty of kinesiology he worked as a professional sailing coach for 6 years and spent the last 8 summers skippering across the Adriatic Sea as well as delivered many yachts across Europe.
